COME ON, ALREADY!
Today I went running for 45 minutes. It's kind of weird thinking that I was actually running for that long, but I had my watch to time me so I know I did it. It wasn't a tough run, just really long and easy. Working towards Track and Field while at the same time, giving my legs a rest from the fast, intense work outs. When you have that much time doing something as mindless as running can be (sometimes it isn't), lots of thoughts pass through your head. A lot. Most of my thoughts were silly, pointless things. It's amazing though how one can clear their mind on a 45 minute run. You would think someone could clear their head in 45 minutes doing any other thing, like sitting by a window or outside, staring at the clouds or something, but it's not the same. I don't know, it's hard to explain. It just seems like your stuck with your thoughts on a run. Don't ask why you're stuck with them while running and not while you're simply sitting and looking at the sky... It's weird!
I know I've already mentioned it before and I'm going to say it again: running is my balance. My day feels more complete when I run. Sometimes I really have to kick myself out the door to do it but I always feel better afterward. Sometimes I feel like I want to give up running all together but I always end up coming back to it. :) Running is my escape?

You know what annoys me? Angles. To be more exact, picture angles. How someone can make a person appear "better looking" when their picture is taken from a certain angle. I guess when I say "better looking", I really mean thinner. Pfft, now-a-days, thinner is better looking to most, is it not? :| I took one of those pictures of myself today. I like it although I'm annoyed by it.
Rawr.

It's the same with me when I run too though I don't really do it as often as you. I might have to start kicking myself out of the door too ;)
ReplyDeleteNice photo! :D I've been getting into photography lately but I can never set my aperture value to get that really strong blurring effect. I'm assuming it has something to do with the lens.
Ha ha, yeah, I have to kick myself out the door most of the time too. :P
ReplyDeleteBut it's good for you, so it's worth it!
Yes, I had to buy a new lens to get that effect. But the larger the aperture, the more depth of field (bluriness) you get. I think the aperture was around 3 or 2.8. I love it so much, it's really too bad that it costs so much to get a decent lens. What kind of camera do you have??
Yeah, it would definitely be worth it.
ReplyDeleteI finally get it, thanks for the in-depth explanation :]
I know, most photography equipment seems to be quite expensive..I will have to start saving up for some new lens, I think your lens are brilliant. I have a Canon 350D, you?
I have the 350D as well! :) The lens I have is the Tamron 28-75mm. A lot of people (myself included) find this lens tack sharp. It's a big improvement from the provided kit lens but I find myself missing the wide angles you could get with the kit lens. But not too much. ;D
